Pricing is influenced by two sets of factors
•External factors, which include layout considerations e.g., price controls, electricity of demand and supply, competition, manufacturers recommended prices.
•Internal factors which include cost of merchandise; type of merchandise, company and store image and trading policy, desired rate of stock turn.
